Motion-U Awards is a prestigious pitching competition tailored for Final Year Project 1 & 2 (FYP 1 & FYP 2) students, held at the esteemed Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT) of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Participation in the competition mandates the submission of a meticulously crafted Business Model Canvas (BMC) alongside a succinct 3-minute pitch video, serving as a pivotal selection criterion by the Motion-U committees. Successful candidates are duly notified via email of their acceptance status.
The event, spanning from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is intricately structured into two segments. The initial phase encompasses the riveting competition itself, where participants present their projects to discerning external judges. Evaluation criteria include adeptness in presentation, technical proficiency, and the potential business viability of the projects, culminating in the selection of the competition victor.
